At Last is one of those songs that is covered by everyone from American Idol wannabes to my dear queen, Beyonce. Try as everyone might, however, nothing beats Etta James’ version. It is one of my all-time favourite vocal performances and I get chills every time I listen to it. Basically, this is a roundabout way of saying that I’m sad that Etta James is ill.
